Connect your new Ambient series to your underglow
HAVE YOU JUST BROUGHT YOURSELF AN AMBIENT FOOTWELL KIT AND OWN ONE OF OUR UNDERGLOWS? DID YOU KNOW YOU COULD SYNC ALL LIGHTING SYSTEMS TOGETHER? FOLLOW THE GUIDE BELOW!
To sync the Underglow and Interior kits, you will need to connect them to one another, We use the Underglow as the host, as this will always be an online unit.
Connect to the Interior controller on Wi-Fi and open up the WLED app.
Go into the settings; under settings, click “Wi-Fi Setup”
Inside the Wi-Fi Settings, you will see “Connect to existing network”. Now fill in your Underglow credentials. (This will be the name and password on your provided pamphlet when you bought your Underglow.)
Click “Save & Connect” at the top of the page and turn off power to the interior controller.
Connect to the underglow and power the interior back up.
They should now both show up inside the WLED app.
Open one of the controllers and click the “Sync” button at the top of the menu. Both controllers will now sync together.
*To revert this, just repeat steps 1–4 and remove the details you put in on step 3, reboot, and enjoy!
Does this mean I could sync multiple cars together? Yes! You can easily hook multiple cars up with this method! Follow the guide above to also connect two Underglows together. Just remember to revert this!
